About Twin Waters
Twin Waters is a coastal suburb of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, and forms part of the Maroochydore urban centre. It is located on the north bank of the Maroochy River. It was originally part of the suburb of Mudjimba and contains a significant canal estate.
The southern boundary of Twin Waters is marked by the South Maroochy River. Part of the suburb is preserved within the Maroochy River Conservation Park.
The size of Twin Waters is approximately 4.6 square kilometres. It has 66 parks covering nearly 15.7% of total area. The population of Twin Waters in 2011 was 2,549 people.
